    Amy Greentree

    Vet

    MRCVS

    Amy joined us after graduating from the Royal Veterinary College in 2021. She has no pets of her own, but hopes to adopt a stray one day. Her hobbies include art, embroidery, baking and keeping far too many houseplants! When she's not at work, she enjoys taking in the beautiful Hampshire countryside.

    Carolyn Gardner

    Veterinary Surgeon

    Carolyn graduated from the RVC in 2010 and then completed a clinical training scholarship at the Queen Mother Hospital for Animals. She spent the next 10 years in small animal practices around Reading, before joining Ashworth in 2022. She loves  general practice and has a special interest in internal medicine. Outside work, she loves to explore the outdoors with her family, gardening and baking, and has two affectionate cats, Jazz and Loki.

    Emily is originally from Hampshire and qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 2012. She joined our team in 2022 and is currently training to become an advanced veterinary practitioner. She lives with her husband, daughter and cocker spaniel and enjoys walking her dog, gardening and cycling.

    Hannah Tombs

    Hannah joined us as a new graduate in 2004 and has a particular interest in small furries, rabbits and chickens. She is passionate about wildlife, and recently set up her own wildlife rehabilitation centre in her garage – releasing over 100 hedgehogs and 200 birds back into the wild last year! She also has two children, a labrador, chickens and guinea pigs.

    Rachael Taylor

    Rachael joined us in 2021 and spent time in at all of our branches before settling at our Cove surgery. She is an integral member of the practice and has an advanced veterinary practice certificate. In her spare time, she enjoys socialising, keeping fit and spending time with her new daughter.

    Sally graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2010 and worked at a small animal practice on the south coast before joining us in 2019. She enjoys medicine and surgery and loves getting to know our patients! When she’s not at work, she can be found spending time with her fiancé Mike, son William and their cat Dave.

    Sigrid has worked at our Fleet and Farnborough branches since 2018. She enjoys the variety of work in a small animal practice, but has a particular interest in dermatology. She is rarely seen without her friendly border terrier Norman!

    Helen graduated in 1992 and began work in her home county of Yorkshire. She moved to Fleet with her husband in 1995 and joined our team in 2019. Her favourite aspects of her job are dentistry and soft tissue surgery. Outside of work, she enjoys palledboarding, reading, cooking and going to the theatre.

    Sophie Gray

    Sophie has been with us since she graduated in 2012. She has two cats called Holly and Ivy and runs our 'Beds for Bunnies' rabbit and guinea pig holiday boarding programme from her own home. Her two daughters and many animals keep her very busy, but when she does get time to herself she enjoys reading and craft activities.

    Denise graduated from Liverpool University in 1996 and began her career in a mixed practice. She joined our team in 1998 and has since developed a keen interest in canine and feline medical cases. Outside of work, she is kept busy by her three teenage children, two golden retrievers, two guinea pigs and cat. In her limited spare time, she enjoys reading, going to the cinema and attending concerts!

    Jayne Fisher

    Jayne joined us in 1989 and acted as our clinical director for over three years. She stepped down in 2020 to focus on internal medicine, and enjoys feline work and ultrasonography. She has a labradoodle called Gracie, a ginger cat called Barley and several bantam chickens. Her favourite pastimes include dog walking, gardening, painting and foreign travel.

    Animal Care Assistant

    Chloe joined our team in 2021 and has never looked back! She has developed a real passion for animal care and is aiming to become a veterinary nurse. She is the proud owner of a family dog named Chester and a horse called Buzz, who is a traditional Irish cob.

    Fran has been working as a veterinary nurse since 2015, and loves nurse clinics and hospital nursing. She spends two days a week with us, and spends her time outside of work looking after her daughter Opal and perusing antique fairs!

    Gemma qualified in 2015 and joined our team the following year. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary nursing, but has a particular interest in anaesthesia. She has a soft spot for large dogs, and has Labradors, guinea pigs and a tortoise of her own at home.

    Hattie qualified in 2016 and joined us in 2019 after relocating from the seaside to Farnborough. She hopes to own her own pet one day, but enjoys looking after our team’s pets. Whenever she goes home to the coast, she likes to claim her family’s dogs as her own!

    Jo joined the team in 2004 as a trainee and qualified in 2007. She enjoys all aspects of nursing, with a special interest in nursing clinics and bereavement, allowing her to help and support clients through the final decisions for their much loved pets. In her spare time, she enjoys meeting friends, long dog walks – pub lunches are essential – and short breaks to beautiful Cornwall and Devon.

    Karen joined us in 2017 and works with our Cove and Fleet teams, where she is an active clinical coach, involved in the training of our students. She has four lovely cats at home, holds a certificate in feline nursing, and is always happy to answer any feline-related questions!

    Phili qualified in 2021 and has a keen interest in exotics, wildlife and reptiles. She hopes to pursue an exotics certificate in the future to progress her skills in this area. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors and seeing family and friends. She has two family cats called Jessie and Bonnie, and is the proud owner of a royal python called Nagini.

    Rachel joined our team in 2017 and has a great deal of rabbit and small animal experience, including time spent running a rabbit boarding facility. She loves all aspects of nursing and has a Yorkiepoo called Milly and a cat called Ronnie at home.

    Nicky began her career over 30 years ago and has experience in small animal and equine nursing. She has even volunteered at a clinic on a small island south of Thailand! In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Charlie, riding and entering competitions with her horse, Nimrod, and training her dog, Iris.

    Sara qualified in 2013 and joined our team in 2018. She has experience in small animal and emergency care, but has a particular passion for inpatient care. Outside of work, she is kept busy with her two children, two cats, two guinea pigs and her dog Arthur, who is a keen agility competitor. She also loves open water swimming and playing football.

    Sophia Thompson-Kelly

    Sophia joined us in 2019, and particularly enjoys critical care and anaesthesia. She has a pet rabbit called Noah, and two rescue dogs called Juno and Dillon, both of whom hold international dog trick titles. In her spare time, she enjoys dancing, tending to her kitchen garden, hiking, dog photography and open water lake swimming.

    Suzanne qualified as an RVN in 2012 and enjoys all aspects of her role. Before joining our team in 2022, she worked in multidisciplinary practices in Surrey. She has a keen interest in emergency and critical care, and preventative treatments. Outside of work, she enjoys keeping active and spending time with her family and pets.

    Anna joined our team in 2000 and currently works part-time at our Sandhurst branch. She met her husband through work in 2004, and they now enjoy family life together with their lovely twin girls and many pets! In her spare time she likes seeing friends, baking, playing the organ and walking and cuddling her rescue dogs Coco and Winnie.

    Nicole joined us in 2006 and has a particular interest in medical nursing and diagnostics. She runs the Pets in Practice training service and Connect Paws, which offers animal training and behavioural services such as our puppy prep school. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the countryside with her husband and pets.

    Kerry joined us in 1999 and became a co-clinical director in 2021. She takes an active role in community events and relishes the opportunity to represent nurses in her role. Outside of work, she is kept busy with her two teenage sons and two cats, Jango Fett and Commander Cod.

    Chrissie joined our team in 2018 after 10 years spent in pub management, and works between our Cove and Sandhurst branches. She has two daughters, three cats, and a mouse that she has hand-reared since it was brought to us as a baby.

    Lucia knew that she wanted to work with animals from a young age and has been with us since our Sandhurst branch first opened. She worked as a nurse at all of our branches before becoming our practice manager, and has three dogs, two rabbits and a cat at home. She would describe her house as a pet friendly zone!

    Christine joined our team in 2021 and works across our Farnborough and Fleet branches. She loves meeting our clients and patients and has two cats of her own at home.

    Debbie was originally one of our clients, but loved visiting us so much that she joined our reception team in 2016! She previously worked in the IT industry, but has always loved animals and has an animal management qualification. She enjoys looking after her rescue cat in her spare time.

    Jo joined us in 2021 after many years spent working in the veterinary industry and running a dog walking business. She lives with her husband Mick, their three rottweilers and their cat Kev. She enjoys showing her dogs across the country and judging competitions, and she can often be found cuddling our canine patients!

    Kayleigh joined our team in 2018 after time spent working in another local practice and working towards an animal management diploma. She has a keen interest in canine behaviour and nursing, and enjoys baking, walking and spending time with her three boxer dogs. She is also the proud owner of a cat called Jezabel and a tortoise called George. In 2022, Kayleigh joined our team of Animal Nurse Assistants and is now an integral part of the Fleet nursing team.

    Sally joined our team in 2011, and enjoys meeting new patients and catching up with familiar faces! She has a busy life outside of work, but likes to walk her spaniel Bruce in her free time. She also has two rescue cats, two guinea pigs and a hamster at home.

    Sarah joined our team in 2020 after time spent working in another veterinary practice, and is the proud owner of a rescue dog and two rescue cats. When she’s not at work, she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and walking her dog.

    Kate spent time working in several veterinary practices across the country before joining our team in 2019. She works at our Fleet branch and loves getting to work with animals every day! In her spare time, she enjoys walking her cavapoo Nellie and making clay animals.

    Lyndsey initially joined us as a weekend receptionist, but became a permanent member of our team in 2013. She lives with her family and their lovely cat Princeton, who was brought into our Cove surgery as a stray kitten.

    Mel joined us in 2016 and loves working as a veterinary receptionist. She has two grown-up children, and two cats called Luna and Bruno. She also rescues chickens and finds it extremely rewarding to watch them gradually improve and wander around her garden. In her free time, she enjoys walking, cycling and watercolour painting.

    Vicky joined our team in 2014, and mainly works at our Fleet branch. She has three children, and a very cute rescue border terrier cross called Mason. She regularly joins in with the Fleet carnival and loves dressing up in our procession entry.

    Becky joined us as a receptionist in 2000, and as one our longest serving team members has seen us through many changes! The Sandhurst team are like family to her, and she loves meeting the pets and clients that come through our doors.

    Caroline joined the team in 2017, and began working in administration in 2022 after a stint on reception. She mostly works at our Cove branch, but may pop up at our other branches on occasion. She has a foster cat called Jess and loves walking so much that she regularly walks other people’s dogs!

    Christina spent 10 years working for the NHS before joining our team in 2021, and enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons. She also has two cats and a leopard gecko at home.

    Sam has worked for us since 1991 and has been there for all of the changes along the way! She works part-time at our Fleet and Cove branches, primarily dealing with pet insurance claims and queries. Her dog Kobo often accompanies her to the office.
